![]() ![]() Or a anti personnel turret with small caliber rapid fire. these could be various types of weapons such as Artillery with long range, laser turret, would include a pool table, basket ball court, a Cantina, a Sauna (treats freezing) and a swimming pool (treats heat exhaustion) A Distillery for turning wheat and barley into beer, or corn and sugar into moonshine, or Molasses into rum.Ī module for your to carry out scientific experiments on new minerals or plant life you find to try and determine what they are and what benefits you can gain from them.Ī module that you dock to your station to allow you to have a place to shoot from at incoming ships. If this Module is powered and placed near an asteroid it will automatically mine the materials at a slow pace and place them in your stations cargo as long as there is power and room to store the raw materials.Ī large module with multiple activities for those who live on a station to enjoy while they are not busy working. Large material investment, but if you want a certain ship and can't find it out exploring you could build it.Ī module where you can plant the seeds you scavenge around that is preserved by the cold of space it would consume hydrogen and oxygen to produce water for the plants, but in exchange you could plant various things to create what you need rather that be food, adrenaline shots, medi pens, or antidotes.Ī module where there is a clinic with various machines that can diagnose what disease you may have, a Hyperbaric Chamber for healing injuries etc. If you still can't dock, you possibly could have a glitched ship or AM.ĭepleted, depressurized Outposts/modules you dock/grapple to will consume your onboard resources if you do not turn off your LS.Here are a few ideas for different modules.Īllows you to do more than just refine the ore you mine, you can also recycle old parts, guns, suits anything you find in space which you then take the base parts and put them in your cargo module.Ī robotic assembly line module where you can take base materials you collect and create necessary or new parts to begin building things you need like high powered guns, advanced suits etc.įor players to work together to harvest materials and build their own ships from the blueprints they find in old derelicts. Continue slowely and it should dock without issue. At about 5m if you need to line up to see the inner door slow down and adjust (keeping rotational movement locked).ġ1. Slowely approach AM looking for the inner door window of the AM.ġ0. Move up/down left/ right to center the door in the HUD breaking the "Speed Match"ĩ. Rotate on x/y axis while still speed matched until the outer HUD circle has no green/red correction indicators.Ĩ. Toggle through the targets until you select the correct AM. The AM should be visible directly ahead.Ħ. Tab out and click on the "Docking" button. (Radar target will move to the top, lined up with the y axis).ĥ. (Radar target should be directly right, lined up on the x axis of the radar screen).Ĥ. Get in the chair, turn 90 degrees on horizontal CCW (counter clockwise). Get ouf of the chair and turn off LS on ship. ![]() Moving the ship (Pilot view) to the chosen AM I line up as close to horizontal/verticle facing the outer door about 80m away and "Speed Match".Ģ. When docking it will indicate not only the rotational orientation along the x-axis, but the y-axis as well (right/left, up/down).ġ. The outer red/green circle on the HUD is the orientation. I can generally be docked up in a few minutes after warping in. Both Docking switches should be orange.I think. Make sure you actually have the AM attached to your Outpost correctly oriented (Airlock pointing out.not sure if you can even attach it the other way.) If you have more than 2 AMs attached, are you targeting the correct one. Not sure about these, but make sure both airlocks are pressurized. The glitch that causes no target to dock to is easily fixed with a relog, but If you are lined up properly the magnetic lock should grab and finish the job once the ship is close enough. Don't understand why this stuff is so hard. ![]()
